Request a correction

Accuracy is GovTally's core value. Every published fact stores its source URL, retrieval time, and license (our provenance backbone), so we can trace any claim to its origin and fix genuine errors quickly. If something looks wrong, please tell us.

How it works

  1. Tell us the specific claim and where you saw it (the page URL).
  2. Acknowledgement within one business day of receipt.
  3. We investigate against the primary source.
    • If our data faithfully reflects the source, we explain that and link it (the issue may lie with the source itself; we may annotate the record).
    • If we introduced the error (a processing/classification/summary mistake), we correct it promptly and, where material, note that a correction was made.
    • If the primary source is wrong, we annotate the record and, where possible, link to the authoritative correction.

Full policy: About & corrections. We do not remove accurate, properly-sourced public-record information on request, but we always correct genuine inaccuracies and add context.
